The brand also launched three new versions of the self-winding flying tourbillon, using titanium or rose gold and a green dial.
However, in the latest AP release, the most coveted model will be the Royal Oak “Jumbo” ultra-thin watch. Keep reading to explore more. Those who want to sell AP watches can fill out our simple form to get a free competitive quotation.
The new Royal Oak “Jumbo” ultra-thin model
Audemars Piguet launched the new “Jumbo” Royal Oak watch, with a 950 platinum case, 39 mm in diameter, 8.10 mm in thickness, and ultra-thin. However, the case frames the smoky green dial, showing off the iconic Royal Oak luminous hands and platinum hour markers.
You can see the brand logo under the 12 hour mark and under the initials of “AP” at 6 o’clock.
Powering the watch is the 2121 self-winding movement.
AP further equipped the movement with a 22ct gold oscillating weight. However, Audemars Piguet has reserved the new Royal Oak ultra-thin “Jumbo” for AP House collectors.
New Royal Oak Automatic Chronograph
The updated Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Automatic Chronograph is also unveiled in a new color scheme, becoming part of the green revolution. This watch uses a 41 mm yellow case with a striking green dial “Grande Tapisserie”.
The watchmaker provided many textures to the watch surface.
The raised squares of the “Grande Tapisserie” dial really enhance the green finish; while the gold case enhances the gloss effect. However, the new Royal Oak automatic chronograph is equipped with a self-winding 2385 self-winding movement.
It is equipped with an 18ct gold oscillating weight. The movement controls the chronograph function and indicates the date, minute, hour and small seconds. In addition, this watch uses a sturdy caseback with the words “Limited Edition” engraved on it.
Only 125 pieces of the new Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Automatic Chronograph are on sale. This model is equipped with a gold bracelet. However, this watch will be equipped with two additional straps-green rubber and green calfskin.
The new Royal Oak self-winding flying tourbillon
AP released three new limited edition Royal Oak Automatic Flying Tourbillon watches. Each model is equipped with a 41 mm case and a green sunburst Tapisserie dial.
The first iteration is equipped with an 18ct pink gold case and matching hands and hour markers.
Interestingly, the green hue of emeralds amplifies the green hue of the Tapisserie dial. However, Audemars Piguet equipped all three Royal Oak self-winding flying tourbillons with its in-house calibre 2950. This movement is the latest generation movement of the brand’s flying tourbillon. It provides a power reserve of at least 65 hours and beats at a frequency of 3 Hz. online men watches
