TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph 39mm Calibre Heuer 02 offers three new models. Each model is equipped with the brand’s impressive Calibre Heuer 02 movement, two of which are equipped with new stainless steel bracelets. TAG Heuer reviewed the past again, but created some new things that are very relevant to the present.

In 1969, Houer founded the first Monaco company, which gave birth to a legend. It is given the iconic No. 11 movement and is housed in a square waterproof case. Calibre 11 was one of the first self-winding chronographs, and the case made by Piquerez was the first square case that could wet hair. The debut model has a blue dial, a white counter and a crown located on the left wing of the case.

At the same time, the high quality watch marketing guru Jack Heuer hired Hollywood real estate agent Don Nunley. Jack is eager to see TAG Heuer products in the movie. Tang was later appointed as the head of the property in the movie “Le Mans” starring Steve McQueen. Wearing workwear similar to Jo Siffert’s Heuer brand sportswear and Heuer Monaco Ref. 1133B worn on the wrist, McQueen will always become the representative of the watch.

In the 1970s, Heuer Monaco sold black perforated leather straps. However, it is also available on a stainless steel bracelet. In the end, the bracelet disappeared from people’s sight. Although many Monaco variants have been provided over the years, the bracelet is still a distant memory.

TAG Heuer commemorated the 50th anniversary of Monaco in 2019 and released a series of limited edition watches, each of which refers to the 10 years of the history of the watch. Stylistic influences are diverse, but each model can be immediately recognized as Monaco. Recently, I interviewed Guy Bove, creative director of TAG Heuer, to gain a deeper understanding of the design of these models.

Last year, TAG Heuer (TAG Heuer) launched Monaco (Monaco), the watch is fully integrated with a column wheel and vertical coupling Heuer 02 movement. The movement is excellent, providing smooth push rod action, knotless actuation, less wear, huge power reserve and minimal resistance. Indeed, the Swiss watch brand has equipped many of its latest models with this movement, including the recently launched Carrera model.

After 2019, after a busy period in Monaco’s history, the brand has not really gotten out of trouble. Earlier this year, it launched the TAG Heuer Monaco History Award Limited Edition Monaco Grand Prix, and now it has launched three new Monaco models.

The black alligator leather strap and steel folding clasp are paired with a model with a black sun-brushed dial. As with all models equipped with the Calibre Heuer 02 Automatic movement, the crown is located on the right side of the case.

The other two models both use a new three-row stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp, each with a blue daylight frosted dial and a black daylight frosted dial. At first glance, the quality of modern bracelets is higher than their predecessors in the 1970s. The latest bracelet looks more sturdy, its design fully takes into account the principles of ergonomics, and gradually becomes thinner as it wraps around the wrist.

Obviously, the brand’s designers have spent time in the company’s museum, drawing inspiration from past models and making a beautiful new bracelet. https://www.bagsbagu.com
