Corum reconnects with the original handicraft heritage on the basis of the marine inspiration of its Admiral series.
Nautical inspiration
Both new Corum Admiral Legend 42 models are equipped with a wooden dial. The first variant paired the blue rubber bezel with the blue teak dial, directly citing the teak deck of the vintage sailboat. The two central hands of this model have a small second hand at 6 o’clock and a date at 3 o’clock.
The second more precious reference is to place the brown teak dial and the 5N rose gold bezel on the steel case. In this work, the date has been moved to 4:30 to make room for the double compound chronograph (30 minutes at 9 o’clock and hours at 6 o’clock).
