Extraordinary talent Frank Muller
Watchmaker Frank Muller fake was born in 1958, the son of an Italian mother and a Swiss father. He was interested in mechanical equipment from an early age. After three years of training at the Geneva Watchmaking School, he worked for the famous watchmaker Svend Andersen and important Swiss watchmakers. Complications proved to be his forte, and by the age of 24 he had received commissions from Patek Philippe, Breguet, Lange and Vacheron Constantin. Back in 1983, he presented his first wristwatch with a specially developed complex movement.
Successful company history
Franck Muller founded the Geneva watch factory in 1991 with case specialist Vartan Sirmakes. The watches they make stand out for their harmonious, distinctive tonneau shape and large, curved Art Nouveau figures. In just a few years, luxury watches became popular. The watch brand’s apt slogan is “Master of Complications”: many models are equipped with extraordinary functions.
The most famous watch collection of the Manufacture is called the Cintrée Curvex. At the same time, its curved case shape is also featured in many of Franck Muller’s other collections and dominates the brand’s overall image.

Over the course of the company’s development, watches continue to surprise the industry. For example, in 1992, the manufacturer developed the world’s most complicated watch, which was awarded a Guinness World Record. This charming timepiece features a perpetual calendar with retrograde month and equation display, day, date, 24-hour and leap year displays.
In 2009, after 5 years of development, another success: the Grande Complication Aeternitas Mega 4 was launched. The model features 36 complications, including a calendar pre-programmed to the year 3009. The movement of this timepiece is made up of 1,483 parts – a movement like this has never existed before. The Grande Complication Aeternitas Mega 4 was bought from an avid collector for $2.7 million.

Franck Muller Crazy Hours: The Most Popular Complications
A particularly unusual complication by Franck Muller is the Crazy Hours with beating hour hands: the hours on the dial are presented in a whole new order. Every 60 minutes, the hands seem to jump randomly to the next hour. The reading craziness is anything but craziness: the minute hand follows the established 60-minute rhythm. Searching for the current hour hand gets the brain going.
