The new TAG Heuer FORMULA 1 CHRONOGRAPH 2021 watch at a glance
This year, the 2021 Bahrain Grand Prix Formula One Championship is marked by three new sports chronographs in TAG Heuer’s Formula 1 watch series. These sturdy 43mm watches offer 200 meters of water resistance, yellow and orange dials, and black nylon or stainless steel straps.
As early as 1986, when TAG Heuer first launched the series, it dedicated its powerful, durable, and legible racing watch to Formula One racing cars. It is now home to GMT watches, chronographs, simple three-hand models with date functions, and a combination of automatic and quartz power tools. Following the acquisition of Techniques d’Avant Garde’s (TAG) in 1986, TAG Heuer’s Formula 1 watches became the first timepieces to be put on the market.
The series was originally powered by ETA or Ronda’s quartz movement. The first appearance of the watch is characterized by the steel core partly covered with colored glass fiber and gear-shaped bezel. Since then, it has undergone considerable development. Today’s TAG Heuer Formula One watches are forged from solid stainless steel, equipped with an anti-glare sapphire crystal top, and countless different dial colors to choose from.
However, the reputation of the unwavering replica TAG Heuer Formula 1 watch is attributed to professional drivers like Joe Seifert, who printed the name of the Swiss brand on his cars and racing suits at the time, which attracted many people. The attention of aspiring F1 drivers experience the TAG Heuer Formula 1 watch for yourself.
This year, three new TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph watches were released together with the striking orange pitch three-hand chronograph. However, the chronograph version has three gray dials-two with bright yellow decorations and one with orange-red elements similar to the three-hand version described above. All three models are to pay tribute to the Bahrain Grand Prix Formula One race in March 2021, and are equipped with unmistakable chronographs that are used extensively throughout the iconic series.
Three new TAG Heuer Formula 1 chronographs are bold and vivid. These watches are designed to capture the adrenaline on the driver’s seat and the side of the track, and their sturdy 43mm stainless steel case punches out on the wrist. If you haven’t seen these three new models up close, now is your chance. In this article, we will introduce all the main functions of the new yellow and orange chronograph with some close-up shots.
The three new chronographs in the TAG Heuer Formula 1 series have some features not to be missed. These include the bright yellow and orange details seen in the tachymeter scale on the black ceramic unidirectional rotating bezel of the watch. Ideal for measuring speed based on distance or distance based on tooth travel-the tachometer continues to prove its use as an indescribable tool in championships such as the Bahrain Grand Prix. The stainless steel case has a diameter of 43 mm and is finely brushed and polished. The top is a flat sapphire crystal glass.
Unlike the TAG Heuer Formula 1 Orange three-pin model, which was also released in 2021, these watches have black-coated sports buttons that can easily handle timing functions. They also have a black-coated screw-in crown with a crown protection system to prevent impact damage. Turn the case over, the brushed steel caseback is engraved with a recognizable checkered effect, with the immediately recognizable TAG Heuer word and its shield logo.
The dials of the three new TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph watches are slightly different due to different colors. All three models have gray textured dials decorated with rod-shaped markers and Arabic numerals at 12 o’clock on the hour track. These, as well as the central pointer, the sub-counter pointer and the tachymeter letters on the bezel are all finished in yellow or orange tones. The sub-dials at 2, 6 and 10 o’clock positions provide small seconds, 1/10 second and 30 minutes functions respectively. Some finer colors can also be seen on the black flange on the outside of each dial, detailing the seconds and minutes. The hands and hour markers are also treated with Super-LumiNova material to help keep time in dim conditions.
Movement and strap
The movements that power these three new TAG Heuer Formula 1 chronograph watches are all quartz movements from Switzerland. This movement can be protected from water damage up to 200 meters underwater, and is protected from shock, thermal shock, light and vibration while being fixed in the case. TAG Heuer ref: CAZ101AG.BA0842 and CAZ101AH.BA0842 models (yellow and orange respectively) are equipped with stainless steel bracelets, and the links are finely brushed and polished. The metal strap is secured to the wrist with a TAG Heuer shield logo engraved folding clasp. TAG Heuer (TAG Heuer) number: CAZ101AG.FC8304 with yellow as the main tone, with black nylon strap, with yellow and gray contrast stitching and traditional stainless steel pin buckle.
