The three new chronographs in the TAG Heuer Formula 1 series have some features not to be missed. These include the bright yellow and orange details seen in the tachymeter scale on the black ceramic unidirectional rotating bezel of the watch. Ideal for measuring speed based on distance or distance based on tooth travel-the tachometer continues to prove its use as an indescribable tool in championships such as the Bahrain Grand Prix. The stainless steel case has a diameter of 43 mm and is finely brushed and polished. The top is a flat sapphire crystal glass.

The dials of the three new TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph watches are slightly different due to different colors. All three models have gray textured dials decorated with rod-shaped markers and Arabic numerals at 12 o’clock on the hour track. These, as well as the central pointer, the sub-counter pointer and the tachymeter letters on the bezel are all finished in yellow or orange tones. The sub-dials at 2, 6 and 10 o’clock positions provide small seconds, 1/10 second and 30 minutes functions respectively. Some finer colors can also be seen on the black flange on the outside of each dial, detailing the seconds and minutes. The hands and hour markers are also treated with Super-LumiNova material to help keep time in dim conditions.

Movement and strap

The movements that power these three new TAG Heuer Formula 1 chronograph watches are all quartz movements from Switzerland. This movement can be protected from water damage up to 200 meters underwater, and is protected from shock, thermal shock, light and vibration while being fixed in the case.
