Audemars Piguet has launched the latest update to its Royal Oak Offshore collection. The brand now releases watches in 43 mm case sizes, 5 of which are made of stainless steel, 18 carat rose gold or titanium. Since the release of the first 44mm series in the early 2000s, this is the first redesign of the Royal Oak Offshore series. The five models released by the manufacturer are a stainless steel case with a black dial and an anthracite-brown dial, a titanium case with a blue dial and a gray dial, and an 18-carat rose gold case with a black dial at the end.

In order to provide enhanced contrast and a more refined surface effect, the pyramids that make up the Tapisserie have been sharpened and connected using raised cross patterns.

The new Royal Oak Offshore series will also receive a new interchangeable strap system, which the watch factory has implemented in this year’s latest version. The interchangeability system has been directly integrated into the buckle and the studs of the case, so it blends perfectly with the aesthetics of the case.

The movement used in the new Royal Oak Offshore series is the manufacturer’s latest internal integrated chronograph; caliber 4401. This caliber 4401 is equipped with a column wheel and flyback function, which means that the chronograph can be restarted without having to stop or reset it first. The movement emits at a frequency of 4hz (28,800 VpH) and has a power reserve of approximately 70 hours.
