The outer shell adopts a flexible 43.6mm x 15.20mm black ceramic case with a satin-brushed surface treatment. The novelty is the use of a striking green ceramic bezel. Blancpain’s design team chose this special green and polished the blank dial to remove scratches and obtain a soft, smooth surface. The next step is to create a texture on the dial with a sunburst pattern and lines radiating from the center. The chronographs at 3 o’clock (30 minutes) and 9 o’clock (12 hours) also have extra texture, which can stand out from the dial, and are hollowed out and nailed to increase depth.
